We’d love to hear from you—you might be just what we’re looking for, whether in this role or another.

✨ Let’s give businesses more time for what matters.

Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company:

As a Lead Product Designer, you'll be applying a critical and analytical lens to help you understand how customers can better pay and be paid, ensuring a seamless and efficient flow of funds and data. You'll use your skills to focus not only on refining and improving our existing core product capabilities but also exploring and evaluating opportunities to expand our core product offering to better serve our customers, whether they’re small businesses or enterprise suppliers.

Some of the ways you'll be successful are:

  • Building trust between customers, vendors, and BILL
  • Understanding and solving problems at their core
  • Leveraging the robust capabilities BILL has to offer in new and innovative ways for our customers

What You'll Be Doing:

  • As a design leader, you'll oversee the design for complex and often ambiguous problems. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to guide them through challenging spaces, establish a clear vision, and make high-impact design decisions with broad considerations for both the business and our customers.
  • You'll lead design projects by partnering with junior designers and other cross-functional teammates. You'll act as a mentor and leader, championing a collaborative culture where diverse expertise is utilized to achieve shared goals. You'll also be a key contributor to design strategy discussions, helping to shape the team's roadmap by aligning design with broader product and business strategies.

We'd Love to Chat if:

  • You've spent at least 8 years designing products, with a proven track record of taking projects from concept to launch. We'd love it if you've worked in FinTech or a related industry before—you'll already understand the unique challenges our customers face.
  • You think about the bigger picture and can help your team make design decisions that balance what users need with what the business needs to thrive. You're not afraid to push back when something doesn't feel right, but you also understand when compromises need to happen.
  • You set a high bar for design quality and aren't satisfied with "good enough." You care about the details—from how the design system evolves to how we handle edge cases—and you can guide your team to create experiences that feel polished and intentional.
  • Most importantly, you genuinely care about the people using our products. You're the type of designer who wants to talk to customers, test assumptions, and iterate based on real feedback, not just design in a vacuum.
  • You can articulate your design decisions clearly, rally people around a vision, and mentor other designers to grow in their craft. You're also fluent in design tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite. Whether you have a bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Interaction Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience, what matters most is your ability to do the work
