Requirements

A technologist who performs technical work necessary to complete daily work in area(s) of assignment and supervises others in the performance of testing in the title area of assignment. When needed, he/she shall assume supervisory responsibilities in other laboratory areas in which he/she is qualified by education and experience.

Salary: $87,299.63 -$94,808 Annually

Qualifications: 

• Six (6) years’ experience in Blood Bank and at least three (3) years in two (2) of the following areas: Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology or Microbiology.
• Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Lab Science.

• Meets N.Y.S. Office of Professional licensure requirements as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• M.T. (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
