Lead Insights Analyst

AI overview

Own executive-level dashboards and reporting processes that inform strategic revenue decisions across the GTM organization.

Lead Insights Analyst, Revenue Operations

About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead Insights Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to GTM leadership. This is not a reporting-only role — it is a high-impact position at the intersection of data, strategy, and revenue execution.

You will own the design and delivery of executive-ready insights across the full GTM spectrum (pipeline, bookings, forecasting, and sales productivity). You will build the dashboards that drive decision-making, shape the narratives presented to senior leadership, and partner directly with Sales leaders to improve revenue outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments, enjoys translating complex data into clear executive stories, and wants a seat at the table for strategic revenue decisions.

This is a highly visible role within the GTM organization with direct exposure to executive leadership and meaningful impact on revenue outcomes. You will shape how performance is measured, influence strategic decisions, and help scale a high-growth SaaS revenue engine.

If you’re looking for a role where your analysis drives real business outcomes — not just reports — we’d love to meet you.

What You'll Do:

Own Executive-Grade Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards across Tableau, Salesforce, PowerBI, Clari, and Gong.
  • Establish a single source of truth across pipeline, bookings, forecast, and sales productivity metrics.
  • Continuously improve data models, visualization standards, and reporting governance.

Drive Strategic Revenue Insights

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze funnel health and deliver proactive insights that influence headcount planning, territory design, quota setting, and compensation strategy.
  • Support board and executive reporting with clear, compelling analysis and narrative framing.

Enable GTM Decision-Making

  • Act as a thought partner on critical GTM initiatives, including channel strategy.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Build scalable reporting frameworks to support New Logo and Expansion motions.

Improve Data Quality & Process Rigor

  • Identify gaps in CRM hygiene and reporting logic; recommend process improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Help define and document key metric definitions and reporting standards.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in data analytics, revenue operations, business intelligence, or related roles (preferably in B2B SaaS).
  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Experience with revenue tools such as Clari and Gong strongly preferred. Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly with data models and large datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level dashboards and board-ready reporting.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS revenue metrics (ARR, pipeline coverage, conversion rates, CAC, expansion, churn, forecast accuracy).
  • Ability to move beyond reporting to diagnosing root causes and recommending action.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex analysis into concise, compelling narratives.
  • Comfort presenting insights to senior Sales leaders and executive audiences.
  • Ability to influence without authority and operate as a trusted advisor.
  • High ownership mentality with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and building structure where none exists.

The expected base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location.
