The Department: Marketing

The Role: Lead, Growth Marketing

Gemini is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to lead and scale our high-performing acquisition engine. You will own the strategy and execution across paid search, paid social, creative experimentation, and emerging channels. This role requires a balance of analytical rigor, creativity, and strategic leadership to optimize Gemini’s marketing investment for maximum impact. This hybrid role blends planning and hands-on buying, requiring expertise in developing and implementing innovative media strategies.

As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you’ll mentor a team of channel experts, drive efficiency at scale, and ensure Gemini stays ahead of the curve in performance marketing innovation.

This role is required to be in person twice a week at our New York City, NY office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Gemini’s multi-channel performance marketing strategy across paid search, paid social, affiliates, direct mail, creative experimentation, and more.
  • Manage and mentor a team of channel leads, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and implement frameworks for budget allocation, attribution, and forecasting to maximize ROI across channels.
  • Partner with Analytics, Product, and Finance to measure performance, optimize spend, and ensure strong alignment with company growth goals.
  • Drive systematic creative experimentation, working closely with design and content teams to improve conversion rates.
  • Identify, test, and scale emerging performance channels and technologies to future-proof Gemini’s growth.
  • Report on key performance metrics and provide insights to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of primarily digital acquisition and/or digital performance marketing program management.
  • Think like a growth marketer but move like a hacker. You know what drives outcomes and how to build just enough to prove value.
  • Bias toward shipping over spec’ing. You believe a working prototype today is better than a polished deck next week.
