Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Lead Generator to support the Vodafone Business Field Team by identifying and qualifying potential business leads. This role is critical in building a strong pipeline for our Business Development Managers and ensuring efficient territory coverage. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive growth in the SME and SOHO segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Prospecting
    • Identify potential business clients through various channels (online research, networking, databases).
    • Maintain awareness of the Irish business arena at local and national levels to support pipeline development.
  • Lead Qualification
    • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure high-quality opportunities for the field team.
    • Schedule appointments for Business Development Managers via phone and email.
  • CRM & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems.
    • Provide feedback and insights to the sales team to optimize lead generation strategies.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align campaigns and outreach efforts.
    • Share best practices and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in lead generation, telesales, or sales support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with business decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook).
  • Positive mindset and self-motivation to deliver consistent results.

Desirable

  • Understanding of the Vodafone portfolio and wider telecoms market.
  • Awareness of SME and SOHO business needs.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales or telecoms industry.
