Musafir.com is hiring a Lead Fullstack Engineer (Backend Focused) to drive backend-heavy architecture, design, and development across critical travel tech systems and lead engineering initiatives.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 9+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering
• Proficient in .NET Core (6.0 and above), C#, ASP.NET MVC, and microservices architecture
• Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks like ReactJS (basic working knowledge)
• Strong database knowledge – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, cloud environments (Azure or AWS), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of secure coding, performance tuning, and scalable backend systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a history of mentoring developers
• Experience working in agile and cross-functional environments

Responsibilities
• Lead the backend-heavy development of scalable, high-performance travel systems
• Architect backend components and services using .NET Core and Microservices principles
• Oversee system integrations with OTAs, payment gateways, and travel APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration
• Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, CI/CD, and testing standards
• Mentor and guide junior team members to build technical strength
• Take ownership of backend reliability, uptime, and performance
• Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and bring relevant innovations to the team
