About the Client  

The American memorabilia manufacturer is primarily known for producing yearbooks and class rings for high schools and colleges. The company also produced photobook products for Disney’s PhotoPass photography service at theme parks and resorts. In addition to its headquarters near Minneapolis and operational offices in Owatonna, Minnesota, the customer has facilities throughout the United States.

What You’ll Do  

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Web, and Spring Boot
• Oversee frontend development, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and guide the team on code quality, architecture, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features
• Mentor team members and support their professional growth
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and maintain legacy components when needed
• Drive CI/CD best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of SDLC processes

What You Bring  

• 7+ years of experience in Java programming language
• Team Leading experience
• Background in rest, spring Web, Spring boot.
• Relevant background in front-end languages such as React JS, handlebars bootstrap, AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, and CSS
• Wide experience with AWS
• Competency in IBatis and writing complex SQL queries in Oracle and SQL Server
• Knowledge of using Eclipse, SVN, GIT, JIRA, Visio, Jenkins, ANT, Maven
• Ability to read classic ASP code and fix a few buys if needed
• In-depth understanding of SDLC and CICD processes
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Possibility to work till 7 pm to CET

Nice to have 

• Experience with e-commerce 
• Background in security, mongo DB, ElasticSearch

English level 

Upper-Intermediate
