Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking an Lead Digital Accessibility Consultant to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.


Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the digital accessibility engagement to help the Authority achieve compliance with federal and client's digital accessibility standards by April 24, 2026. Provide strategic guidance, governance, and oversight across remediation, training, and sustainable accessibility practices.


Background
MSHDA is required to comply with ADA Title II and client's digital accessibility standards. The engagement focuses on remediating public facing digital content, building internal capacity, and implementing long term accessibility processes across websites, applications, documents, and media.


Preffered Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • Experience with State of Michigan digital accessibility standards
  • Ability to define remediation strategies and internal controls
  • Experience advising public sector or regulated organizations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills


Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in digital accessibility consulting
  • Hands on experience leading accessibility remediation and compliance programs


Certifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • IAAP CPACC, WAS, or equivalent accessibility certification preferred
