JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps practices, with a strong ability to mentor and manage a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment for our Microservices-based VDR platform.
• Location: Chennai, India
• Working hours: 10:30 AM IST to 7:30 PM IST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the DevOps team, providing mentorship and managing day-to-day tasks.
• Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance in a microservices architecture.
• Design, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other tools.
• Drive the automation of infrastructure as code using Terraform and similar tools.
• Oversee application performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and support, ensuring high availability across environments.
• Continuously improve deployment processes, ensuring seamless release management.
• Implement cost optimization strategies for AWS infrastructure.
• Foster collaboration between DevOps, development, and QA teams
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Expertise in AWS services: Networking, Security, Compute, Containers, and Databases.
• Extensive experience with AWS EKS, Fargate, and cloud-native services.
• Mastery in CI/CD tools: GitLab, Jenkins, and Git.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
SOFT SKILLS:
• Proven leadership experience in managing DevOps teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues under pressure.
• Eagerness to stay updated with emerging technologies in cloud and DevOps.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
