TLDR

Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for building CI/CD pipelines and deploying cloud solutions using AWS and Google Cloud while ensuring security best practices.

Role: Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: 100% Onsite (Westlake Village, CA) Local profile only

Long Term Contract

📌 Role Overview

 

 

Skill Summary :

  1. AWS – Level Expert (AWS Solution Architect Preferable) Or / And  Google Cloud  -- Must have
  2. CI/ CD Pipeline building Experience – Must have
  3. Expertise in GitLab, Git
  4. Terraform / OpenTofu Expertise --Required
  5. Python Coding required – Required
  6. Understanding of Chef Cookbook
  7. Understanding of Auth0 Tenant configuration.
  8. Ruby on Rail / Node JS preferred  -- Good to have

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.
  • Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Expertise in monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments, including identity management, network security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms in any of the following  (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer).
  • AWS Solution Architects are preferred
  • Experience working in a microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
  • Familiarity with serverless computing frameworks.
