Our client is seeking a Lead Data Engineer who combines strong technical depth with a “get-things-done” attitude. This is a leadership role for someone who codes, mentors, and drives best practices — not just from behind a desk, but shoulder-to-shoulder with their team. What you'll do:

Design and develop a robust, enterprise-grade data platform to power smart, data-driven decisions across the business.

Lead architectural decisions and best practices for Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other elements of the modern data stack.

Implement access controls, CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and data quality measures to ensure security and reliability.

Establish data observability frameworks to monitor performance and preempt potential issues.

Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Act as a technical mentor and thought leader, championing best practices and modern data engineering standards.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, production-grade data systems.

Strong knowledge of data infrastructure, DevOps for data, and CI/CD workflows (Git, pipelines, version control).

Expertise in data governance, quality, and security across enterprise environments.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and cloud-based data ecosystems.

A passion for clean architecture, scalable systems, and solving real-world data challenges.
