Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven experience leading a data engineering team with final technical sign-off responsibility

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and SQL

• Proficient in Python

• Understanding of data architecture, ELT pipelines, and methodologies

• Familiarity with agile practices

• Preferred: Experience with dbt, AWS pipeline tools, and data modelling/statistics

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers

• Drive execution of data projects aligned with business goals

• Design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines

• Ensure high standards of data integrity and quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions

• Develop and maintain data models for analytics and ML use cases

• Conduct exploratory data analysis

• Identify and implement data process improvements

• Stay updated on latest data engineering trends and best practices
