Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering data solutions in production environments

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, including query optimization and performance tuning

• Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Postgres and MongoDB (indexing, security, backups, reliability)

• Strong understanding of data modelling, warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT patterns

• Experience translating cross-functional business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and explain technical trade-offs

• Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring engineers and driving execution discipline

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of core data systems and analytics platforms

• Design, build, and deploy scalable data solutions across multiple projects

• Standardize data structures and metric definitions to ensure a strong single source of truth

• Ensure database reliability, performance, and security across Postgres and MongoDB systems

• Integrate geospatial datasets to enable booth-level, village-level, and location-based analysis

• Build and operationalize dashboards for near real-time insights with trusted metrics

• Proactively troubleshoot data and pipeline issues, driving root-cause fixes

• Set and enforce engineering standards for code quality, documentation, and governance

• Mentor engineers and analysts through reviews, technical guidance, and delivery leadership

• Partner closely with stakeholders to convert requirements into production-grade solutions
