⭐ Mission:
As the Lead Data Analyst – Growth Marketing, your mission is to lead a team of ~7 analysts to deliver high‑quality, actionable insights that help Qonto acquire more customers at a lower cost. You will raise the ambition and quality of marketing analytics (from “good” to “advanced”), structure how we measure performance, and partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Finance/FP&A to ensure data drives clear decisions on budget allocation, channels and growth strategy.
Beyond your direct team, you will also influence and coordinate closely with key individual contributors from related teams — including two Analytics Engineers supporting the Growth analytics scope, as well as the four GPS Growth Analysts working day‑to‑day with the same stakeholders — to align priorities, clarify ownership, and ensure consistent, trusted measurement across the Growth organization.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Lead Data Analyst – Growth Marketing at Qonto, you will:
Lead & Grow the Team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of ~7 data analysts (including senior profiles) to deliver excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Drive Marketing Performance: Structure and produce analyses on acquisition, funnels, monetization, and retention to optimize CAC, payback, and ROI across channels.
Partner with Stakeholders: Act as the primary data partner for Marketing, Sales, Finance, and FP&A, aligning teams on performance definitions and supporting key business reviews.
Raise Analytics Standards: Challenge existing measurement approaches, identify analysis gaps, and implement frameworks that push the quality of insights from "good" to "advanced."
Bridge Strategy & Data: Translate complex business questions (e.g., new offers like credit, new CRM tools) into clear analytics roadmaps and coordinate with Analytics Engineering on data models.
🤔 What you can expect:
Strategic Impact: You will manage the analytics scope for a massive marketing budget in a high-growth scale-up, directly influencing how Qonto acquires and retains customers.
Team & Culture: You will join a central Data team valued by the business, working in a lean, pragmatic environment that balances rigorous reporting with flexible, actionable insights.
Evolution: You will have the opportunity to shape the marketing analytics organization, with potential to expand your scope as the team and business grow.
Innovation: We encourage experimentation, including the use of AI/LLMs to unlock productivity and new ways of analyzing marketing performance.
🤝 About your future manager: Your Future Manager will be Erwan, Head of Business Analytics.
His background? Erwan has built a strong career at the intersection of data, analytics, and business performance, leading analytics teams and partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, and Finance stakeholders to drive decision-making and measurable impact.
What does he bring to the team? Erwan sets a high bar while staying very pragmatic: he cares about clarity, strong execution, and building a shared, trusted view of performance across teams. He’s also a supportive leader who encourages ownership and autonomy, helps unblock complex stakeholder situations, and invests in developing people so the team can consistently deliver high-quality insights that move the needle.
🏅 About You:
Experience: You have strong experience in Marketing Analytics (acquisition, SEO/SEA, funnels, retention) within a tech scale-up or B2C environment managing significant budgets.
Leadership: You have a proven track record of managing and coaching analytics teams, including senior profiles, to deliver high-quality work autonomously.
Stakeholder Management: You excel at communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Finance, capable of navigating conflicting priorities and driving alignment.
Technical & Analytical Skills: You combine strong business acumen with solid technical foundations (SQL, data modeling/dbt, visualization tools) and a rigorous approach to data quality and performance measurement.
Mindset: You are ambitious, pragmatic, and adaptable, ready to challenge the status quo and raise the ambition level of a critical business function.
At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick! Who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we've been searching for all along.
