The Role
Veeva Link’s vision is to build connected data applications that improve research and
patient outcomes. To help our data operations team grow, we are looking for a Lead that manages our freelancer management platforms and owns the global sourcing of our data curators end-to-end.
During your onboarding, you will learn how our world-class data operation works by studying our operating model and process documentation and talking to your key stakeholders. Then you will quickly take on the responsibility of leading your team. You will align with our production and quality control teams on their hiring needs, handle the day-to-day operations in freelancer recruiting and scale your team at a fast pace to enable our overall growth. You will closely collaborate with D-level leadership to drive our strategy for freelancer platforms, which includes the selection, roll-out, and management of these platforms. You will also identify and manage sourcing channels to increase the number of qualified applications.

What You'll Do
- Lead and scale a team
- Meet data ops hiring needs at exponential growth
- Manage contractor platforms, contracts, and payments
- Manage and report KPIs on the curator population, hiring, budget, and expenses
- Analyze training data and key performance indicators
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business, engineering, or life sciences
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Experience with managing and optimizing business processes
- Experience with managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder alignment
Nice to Have
- Experience with high-volume hiring
- Experience with the gig economy or freelancer sourcing
- Lean six sigma certification
- Experience in a fast-paced or agile work environment
