Lead C#/.NET Back-end Developer

Jalasoft is seeking an experienced Lead C#/.NET Back-end Developer to take charge of our back-end development initiatives. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, architecting robust back-end solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business goals and to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Requirements

Must-have:

• Over 8 years in back-end development, with strong proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks
• Expertise in C#/.NET (Core 3, .NET 5+) Development: MVC architecture and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM)
• Proven experience of RESTful endpoints
• Strong proficiency in Visual Studio / VS Code for the complete development cycle, debugging, and NuGet package management
• Experience of relational databases (MariaDB, SQL Server)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (handling Promises)
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Experience in execute code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Strong experience in application support across diverse technical areas

Leadership Skills:

• Team & Project Management:
  Coordinate with the Client on ticket prioritization for upcoming work and report progress periodically.
  Actively participate in key client meetings as technical lead, review estimations, help to define tasks, discuss processes and improvements.
• Process & Procedure Enforcement:
  Ensure strict adherence to client procedures (e.g., project management tool updates, correct Pull Request and ticket closure processes, and blocker escalation channels).
• Talent, Training, and Support:
  Participate in technical interviews and prepare evaluation reports for new prospects.
  Lead and coordinate training sessions and knowledge-sharing meetings for team development.
  Manage team logistics: Report and follow up on member issues related to accounts, environments, resource needs (software/hardware), and IT tickets.
• Communication Skills:
  Demonstrated fluency in English (both written and verbal), enabling effective communication with peers and clients.
  Actively participate in technical discussions, providing and receiving constructive technical feedback, effectively giving opinions, and making influential suggestions.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience using HeidiSQL for direct database management
• Proven ability using StimulSoft for generating parameterized reports
• Experience with implementation of client-side validations with jQuery
• Experience with Bootstrap for responsive design and interface layout
• Experience with Gitlab (Version control system)
