We are seeking a Lead BI/ML Developer with expertise in Conversational Analytics, Looker, and experience in ML-driven dashboards to design and implement next-generation analytics solutions.

Role Overview

As a Lead BI/ML Developer, you will architect and develop data visualization and conversational analytics platforms, integrating ML models into BI workflows. You will lead the design of Looker dashboards, optimize data pipelines, and enable natural language query experiences for business users.

Key Responsibilities

BI Development & Visualization

  • Design and build interactive dashboards and data models using Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Implement semantic layers, custom visualizations, and embedded analytics for enterprise applications.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and governance compliance across BI platforms.

Conversational Analytics & AI Integration

  • Develop conversational analytics solutions enabling natural language queries and insights.
  • Integrate ML models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and personalization.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to embed LLM-powered query engines into BI workflows.

Data Engineering & Optimization

  • Design ETL pipelines, data transformations, and aggregation strategies for large-scale datasets.
  • Optimize query performance and implement data caching for real-time analytics.
  • Ensure data lineage, metadata management, and compliance with governance standards.

Governance & Documentation

  • Define best practices for BI development, ML integration, and data stewardship.
  • Document architecture decisions, dashboard standards, and conversational workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years in BI development; 3+ years with Looker
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Expertise in Conversational Analytics and natural language query systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for data modeling and ML integration.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and predictive analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure a plus).
  • Knowledge of LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI-driven BI enhancements.
  • Certifications in Looker, Power BI, or Google Cloud Data Analytics.
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
