What We Do (Audio Visual Integration):

As an AV Installation Team Lead, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role supporting a large-scale AV integration project at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, CA. In this position, you’ll not only perform complex AV installations but also lead a small team (3–4 technicians) to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.


You’ll serve as the onsite point of contact for coordination with the AV Practice Lead and Program Manager, ensuring smooth execution of daily tasks and milestone objectives.


The ideal candidate combines strong technical installation expertise with leadership and organizational skills, fostering a professional and cohesive onsite team environment.


Work Location & Schedule

This position is short-term and contract-based:

  • 10 weeks onsite at China Lake, CA
  • All travel and lodging expenses covered by PEAKE


Start Date:

  • December 7, 2025 (tentative)


Clearance Requirement


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Extron, Crestron, and Barco systems and components
  • Read and interpret design drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural drawings
  • Terminate and test a variety of wire and connector types (audio, video, network, control, power)
  • Supervise and assist with physical installation of a wide variety of AV and supporting technologies in diverse environments
  • Supervise and support equipment rack preparation and staging, including wire lacing and installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc.
  • Mount equipment such as monitor mounts, ceiling speakers, microphones.
  • Install and configure video walls
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional work environment


Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to assemble/disassemble equipment, sit or stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.


Education/Certifications:

  • Basic Networking knowledge desired 
  • 5+ years in the Audio-Visual or Electronics Field Installation with previous team lead experience preferred
  • AVIXA CTS Certification is preferred but not required
  • Excellent Verbal and Written English Skills.
  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and professionally in onsite military environments.
  • Experience with Barco Video Wall Installation highly desired.
  • Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position.
