Lead Analyst, Murex & Total Fund Management Financing, Public Markets Technology

As a Lead Analyst, you will be pivotal in driving innovative technology solutions that enhance the company’s trading and risk management capabilities. Leveraging your deep expertise in Murex and financial products, you will mentor and guide other team members while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. This role requires a blend of hands-on delivery, technical depth, problem-solving skills, and strong communication to ensure that technology solutions drive measurable business impact.

Team Summary

We are a business-facing technology team that partners with back, middle and front office, risk, operations, and infrastructure groups to deliver end-to-end solutions for position lifecycle. Our work spans project delivery, production support, and process automation. Accountabilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on Murex, with hands-on involvement in trade lifecycle management, booking, processing, and valuation.
• Lead and actively participate in project delivery, from requirements gathering and design through configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide hands-on functional production support for Murex, investigating and resolving issues in partnership with business users across asset classes.
• Conduct deep data analysis and dependency checks to identify root causes, propose fixes, and improve system stability.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities, translating them into practical technology solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, driving initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Mentor and support the rest of the team by sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and encouraging best practices.
• Ensure all deliverables consider long-term maintainability, scalability, and operational resilience.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, adapting your style to different stakeholders.

• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with and strong understanding of the Murex trade lifecycle, including booking, processing, and valuation across multiple asset classes.
• Practical experience leading testing activities and ensuring deliverables meet business requirements.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis and work through dependencies
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both business and technical teams.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and problem-solving.
