The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Law Graduate to join our Enterprise team working on Franchising and other areas for our huge clients!

Our Franchising Lawyers have worked with hundreds of franchisors (both Australian and international) to help grow their Australian franchise network. We also deal with huge enterprise companies and assist with establishing franchise systems and the ongoing work that follows, including drafting negotiating grants, renewals, and surrenders. We also assist clients with franchise buybacks and sales, franchising related disputes, as well as any other commercial legal needs they may have. To ensure you get a variety of work, you will also be assisting with some Intellectual Property matters, and other matters our Franchisor clients require.

You will receive comprehensive formal and on the job training focused on technical legal knowledge, matter management, and client service to give you a strong understanding of the legal needs of our Franchisor clients, in order to provide valuable advice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Requirement: Can start in February and are either already admitted as a Lawyer, or within 6 months of joining.
  • You have a genuine interest in the area of Franchising, and are keen to support the team on General Commercial and Leasing work that may arise from our Franchisor clients.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are keen to grow as a lawyer in an innovative NewLaw environment.
  • You are focused on your clients and you’re dedicated to creating experiences that exceed client expectations.
  • You are friendly, resilient and professional. You celebrate the ups and push through and learn from the downs.
  • You are an organised and efficient worker, and can effectively manage competing priorities.
