We have an opening for a PRN Laundry Assistant to support our Inpatient Complex Medical Care and Rehab Unit at our Johnston location. As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring clean, sanitary and attractive linens and clothing for the pediatric and young adult population we serve.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Greet customers with a positive, friendly, courteous attitude. Problem-solve and respond to customer needs.
- Follow all procedures for laundry duties. Follow all soiled linen and isolation laundry procedures.
- Perform duties in compliance with established safety regulations.
- Care for and maintain laundry area.
- Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness: follow infection control guidelines, wear gloves appropriately and as needed. Follow all safety food service guidelines and regulations.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with laundry, preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, infrequently
- Maneuver within the physical work environment with some bending, stooping and reaching.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
