LATAM Senior Growth Marketing Manager, SEM (Mexico)

Growth Marketing at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, data and technology. We are looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager supporting our Search Program. The ideal candidate is energetic and a self starter willing to dig in and own the foundations of our program. You can ramp up quickly and work effectively with little oversight and prioritize and manage your own work, clearly tying it to the goals of the larger team, and the business as a whole.

This Senior Growth Marketing Manager will report to the Growth Marketing Lead and be based remotely. They will be responsible for leading their regional campaigns and full-scale SEM initiatives from concept to completion, helping to raise the bar of expertise in our team.

Airbnb is looking for a senior growth marketing manager who will own regional performance, strategy and execution of SEM in LATAM. With your expertise we will grow regional KPIs with locally-tailored search experiences, insights and optimizations identified through data and partnerships.

Candidates must have extensive experience owning end-to-end SEM channel management with a clear understanding of the full marketing funnel. Our ideal candidate is an effective communicator and proven thought-leader who fosters close partnerships with cross-functional and regional teams.

A Typical Day: 

• Own the optimization and management of Airbnb’s SEM program across Google and local search engines for your region
• Make improvements to structure, targeting, keyword coverage, landing pages and bid management
• Develop an effective optimization process to quickly identify and respond to changes in performance
• Proactively identify and test growth and efficiency opportunities
• Pull and analyze reports to extract insights and transform those insights into actionable changes that will accelerate performance
• Collaborate with our regional partners to fully support country goals and expand market coverage with locally-relevant creative 
• Research and leverage SEM industry trends and competitive analyses to inform marketing strategies
• Proactively share performance insights and opportunities with leadership across Growth Marketing and regional teams 
• Coordinate with teammates by sharing learnings and applying proven tactics across the global SEM program
• Harness new technologies in AI to improve targeting, bidding, ad delivery and scale

Your Expertise:

• 8+ years of relevant experience working at an in-house growth marketing team
• Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese
• Proficiency with SQL and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, modeling)
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end SEM management
• Analytical decision-maker who is adept at connecting data to outcomes and strategic direction
• Endlessly curious and growth-minded
• Collaborative and empathetic team member who builds close partnerships and connections
• Effective written and verbal communicator with the ability to translate data and technical concepts into digestible stories
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear vision of how SEM contributes to the bigger picture
