Your responsibilities as Last Mile Delivery & Operations Executive

1. Carrier Management – Identify, engage, and oversee delivery carriers, conducting market studies, tenders, and sourcing activities for cost efficiency.

2. Performance Monitoring – Track carrier performance, conduct monthly key account meetings, and implement continuous improvements.

3. Market Analysis – Stay updated on last-mile delivery trends and optimize delivery methods by benchmarking industry best practices.

4. Collaboration & Negotiation – Work closely with logistics, customer service, and retail teams while negotiating favorable contracts and SLAs with carriers.

5. Sustainability & Innovation – Optimize routes to minimize CO2 emissions, adapt to market shifts, and introduce new last-mile delivery solutions.

6. Strategic Development – Develop commercial delivery policies, review carrier contracts, and manage annual tenders for pricing, quality, and service improvements.

7. Optimization & Compliance – Analyze carrier performance, conduct safety audits, and refine processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

8. Entrepreneurial Approach – Adapt to a dynamic environment, ensuring seamless last-mile operations through proactive management and strategic tool alignment.

Requirements

• Experience & Expertise – At least 3-4 years in logistics/last-mile industry with a strong understanding of cost-conscious decision-making and P&L management.
• Customer-Centric Mindset – Passionate about delivering the best last-mile experience, committed to users, and driven by a strong sense of service.
• Strategic & Analytical Thinking – Ability to project beyond the next quarter, analyze data, identify opportunities, and take proactive measures.
• Negotiation & Communication – Strong skills in supplier negotiation, relationship-building, persuasion, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability & Entrepreneurial Spirit – Hands-on, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Problem-Solving & SOP Implementation – Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think outside the box, and ensure effective SOPs are in place and followed.
