The Opportunity

The Language Services Project Coordinator (APAC) position is an outstanding opportunity to join a vibrant, disruptive technology company operating a cloud-based platform for multilingual web conferences, online meetings, live events, and more. In this role, you will coordinate client meetings and events, staffing professional simultaneous interpreters to make their event a success. You will also collaborate closely with all departments across KUDO to create a seamless customer experience.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Source qualified simultaneous interpreters per language and expertise, vetting their credentials, ensuring adherence to confidentiality protocols, and professional standards.
  • Schedule comprehensive onboarding webinars for professional simultaneous interpreters, verifying their technical setup and performance in online environments.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of freelance interpreters with complete profiles, specializations, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate end-to-end meeting logistics, matching clients’ interpretation requests based on subject matter expertise, languages, and interpreters’ availability. This includes interpreter staffing, preparation materials, and payments, ensuring a seamless execution from staffing to wrap-up.
  • Monitor live interpretation assignments in real time and provide immediate support to operators and interpreters as needed.
  • Track accurate meeting data and assignment outcomes, including documenting incidents and feedback, to support strategic resource planning and implement service quality improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative and engaging community among KUDO Certified and KUDO Pro interpreters, promoting knowledge-sharing and professional development.


Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in meeting/event coordination or project management or a related role.
  • Knowledge/experience working with simultaneous interpreters or multilingual events is a huge plus.

 

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or similar).
  • Experience with project management or scheduling tools (e.g., Monday.com or CRM systems).

 

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple meetings/events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client interactions, training, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to last-minute changes or technical issues.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering a seamless client and interpreter experience.

 

Language & Collaboration

  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a strong plus).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments (e.g., Client Management, Technical Support).
