Landscape Irrigation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to support residential landscape projects throughout Walpole, MA. This hands-on role centers on the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler and irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution and healthy landscapes.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain residential irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and piping
• Perform seasonal system start-ups, winterizations, and routine performance inspections
• Diagnose and repair system issues such as leaks, pressure imbalances, wiring faults, or malfunctioning controllers
• Adjust watering schedules to promote water efficiency and proper turf and plant health
• Maintain accurate service documentation and follow company safety standards
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding system functionality and recommended improvements
• Assist with larger landscape or irrigation projects as needed and support junior technicians

Requirements

• Experience with residential irrigation installation and repair
• Working knowledge of sprinkler systems, timers/controllers, and troubleshooting procedures
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
• Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively within a team
