Landscape Designer, Residential

We are hiring a Landscape Designer to support residential outdoor projects while developing client-facing design and sales capabilities.

This role is part of a design-build environment and focuses on increasing design output while building the skills needed to contribute to client presentations and project sales. It is not a back-office drafting role—this is a growth opportunity for someone who wants to evolve into a client-facing, revenue-generating designer over time.

You will work closely with senior designers and field teams, gaining exposure to both design production and the full project lifecycle, from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of residential landscape concepts and project layouts
• Assist in creating 2D plans and 3D models for client presentations
• Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior designers
• Revise and update designs based on client feedback and project requirements
• Help manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure designs align with field execution
• Learn the design-build sales process, including how projects are presented and sold
• Contribute to increasing design output and project backlog
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or a related field
• Degree or formal training in landscape architecture, design, or similar discipline preferred
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools
• Interest or exposure to 3D modeling and client presentation work
• Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Interest in developing client-facing and sales skills over time
• Exposure to residential design-build environments preferred (pure drafting roles are not the focus)
