Land Management Summer Associate (Intern)

We hire Land Management Summer Associates that are passionate about sustainable clean energy. Our summer associates support the team in all aspects of land management including leasing, title work, and database management.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and processing of real estate related contracts including assistance with drafting, recording, scanning, mass mailings and filing
• Inputting data accurately and consistently across multiple land databases
• Maintenance and organization of land file room, including cataloguing of documents to be sent to long term storage
• Assisting with real estate title matters
• Performing other duties as assigned

• College undergraduate, ideally a rising senior or graduate
• Experience with GIS a plus
• Proficiency in Excel
• Good analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Quality assurance with repetitive tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in organizational and logistical problem-solving

• The summer associate program will run from June 1 through August 7 but we can be flexible with the start and end dates
• Hours: Full Time 
• Type:  Non-Exempt
• Paid Internship: Undergraduate, $17/Hour; Graduate, $27/Hour
• Office Location: Our Charlottesville, VA headquarters
