LAC Storage Sales Manager - Chile

TLDR

Drive adoption and acceptance of Trina Storage products in Chile, collaborating with customers and internal teams while managing the entire sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key opportunities in Chile, drive adoption and acceptance of Trina Storage products and services. 
  • Execute sales plan to penetrate target accounts at all levels. 
  • Collaborate with appropriate constituents to support and engage customers. 
  • Design, development and implementation of the company’s sales plan in Chile.
  • Delivery budgetary & fixed proposals for customers.
  • Support contract negotiations and close transactions. 
  • Liaise between customers and Sales Engineering. 
  • Manage entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection for all your accounts, staying in close contact both with customers and the company’s related internal departments.
  • Maintain keen awareness of competitor products and offerings that enable Trina Storage’s continued differentiation and new product development.
  • Represent Trina Storage at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other.
  • Fully support the transition from sales to program management and customer support teams.
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under the managed accounts to the Head of Storage LAC on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis as required.
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers’ benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial, sales support or pre-sales roles in renewables, EPC or related industries.
  • Familiarity with BESS technology and techno-commercial aspects is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and mastery of Excel / PowerPoint for business cases and pricing models. 
  • Highly organized, capable of coordinating multiple tenders in parallel.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Upper-intermediate level English required
