LAC Storage Sales Manager (Argentina)

TLDR

Lead the execution of the sales plan for Trina Storage products in Argentina, focusing on adoption, customer engagement, and managing the selling process from forecasting to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key opportunities in Argentina, drive adoption and acceptance of Trina Storage products and services. 
  • Execute sales plan to penetrate target accounts at all levels. 
  • Collaborate with appropriate constituents to support and engage customers. 
  • Design, development and implementation of the company’s sales plan in Argentina.
  • Delivery budgetary & fixed proposals for customers.
  • Support contract negotiations and close transactions. 
  • Liaise between customers and Sales Engineering. 
  • Manage entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection for all your accounts, staying in close contact both with customers and the company’s related internal departments.
  • Maintain keen awareness of competitor products and offerings that enable Trina Storage’s continued differentiation and new product development.
  • Represent Trina Storage at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other.
  • Support the transition from sales to project execution teams ensuring smooth project handover. 
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under the managed accounts to the Head of Storage LAC on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis as required.
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers’ benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and manage cross-functional interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Economics preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial, sales support or pre-sales roles in renewables, EPC or related industries.
  • Familiarity with BESS technology and techno-commercial aspects is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and mastery of Excel / PowerPoint for business cases and pricing models. 
  • Highly organized, capable of coordinating multiple tenders in parallel.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Existing network with Argentine developers, utilities, and energy stakeholders is highly valued
  • Understanding of the Argentine power market structure and regulatory framework is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent Spanish native
  • Advanced English required, Portuguese is a plus.
