Labourer / Traffic Controller (TMO)

We’re looking for a Labourer / Traffic Controller (TMO) to join our team based in Te Kuiti. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll support day-to-day site operations and ensure traffic management plans are followed to keep both the public and crew safe.    Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing and maintaining compliant Traffic Management Plans
• Providing traffic control as required
• General labouring duties including pothole repairs, sign maintenance and site clean-up
• Assisting with civil construction, drainage and water works
• Safe operation and care of vehicles, plant and equipment
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workmanship
• Communicating progress and issues to Supervisors

You’re reliable, safety-focused and enjoy working as part of a crew. You take pride in your work, follow instructions well, and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.  You’ll bring:

• A full, clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence
• Ideally you will have a TTM Worker or TMO qualification
• Strong awareness of health & safety and risk management
• Clear verbal communication skills
• A team-player mindset and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently once tasks are set
