Based in Raetihi, you’ll be part of a two-person crew carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance across the Ruapehu District southern road network. Your day-to-day work will include:
- General road and footpath maintenance (potholes, drainage, slips, litter, vegetation control).
- Cleaning and maintaining roadside assets (signs, barriers, street cleaning).
- Supporting civil construction and drainage activities when required.
- Operating vehicles and plant safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking team player who enjoys hands-on outdoor work. You’ll be safety-conscious, adaptable, and willing to learn, with a positive attitude towards working in all conditions. - A full Class 1 driver licence (preferred, will assist with training if required).

- STMS Level 1 Practising or civil construction experience (desirable, but not essential).
