Lab Technician - India South

Job Description 
  • Technical support for Power Supply Proto boards / testing & debugging 
  • Built prototypes, reference boards and preparation of test reports 
  • Test and debug Power Supply proto boards 
  • Maintain all electronic components and any other consumables in lab 
  • Ensure equipment calibration is done on time 
  • Able to build and test magnetic components like Ferrite transformer and Inductors 
  • Operates oscilloscopes, electronics loads, power analyzers etc 
  
Requirements:  
  • Minimum 3+ years of Product, Design, or Test Engineering experience 
  • Experienced technician in Switched Mode Power Supply board assembling, testing, debugging and preparation of test reports 
  • Ability to follow design documentation and build limited quantity of finished boards 
  • PCB layout skills, preferably using OrCAD / Allegro added advantage 
  • Ability to maintain / perform lab related activities like components organization, equipment calibration etc. 
  • Knowledge of and ability to support automated test equipment and final testing 
  • Good computer & typing skills and be able to use Microsoft Windows, Excel & Word 
  • English fluency, other languages desirable 
  • Analytical, independent, accurate work practices and organization 
  • Communication skills for working in cross-functional and international teams 
  • Hand-on and the willingness and the ability for problem solving 
  • Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers, with strong communication skill, both verbal and in writing 
  • Travel if needed, to customer locations (20% to 50%) 
  Experience: 
  • Minimum of 3-5 Years of experience in Testing and Debugging of SMPS 
  • Experienced in using SMPS testing equipment’s like Multimeter, Power Analyzer & CRO 
  • Experience with basic circuit is a plus 
  • Board level debug and testing experience a must  
  • Bench equipment setups and bench evaluation of Power supply boards experience is desired 
  • Experience with high voltage, high power testing is a plus 
  Education: 
  • Minimum ITI (Electronics) or NTTF (Electronics) OR Diploma in Electronics & Communication
