At Recursion, we combine experimental biology, automation and artificial intelligence to quickly and efficiently identify treatments for human diseases. Each week we knit together big data, biology, and robotics to capture hundreds of thousands of observations. Using genetic manipulation, we create disease models in relevant human cell types, then use high throughput imaging coupled with automated image analysis to identify compounds that reverse cellular disease phenotypes. At Recursion, we’re focused on conducting scalable biology, and leveraging automation to extract maximum value from every minute we spend in the laboratory.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
Your work as part of our Compound Management team will significantly increase the speed of our drug discovery platform and will help us achieve our mission of decoding biology to radically improve lives.
As a Technician, you’ll play an essential role in provisioning drug candidates by ordering, solubilizing, and distributing compounds throughout our R&D laboratories. On any given day, you will draw upon your knowledge of Chemistry and work with computer-controlled automated laboratory instrumentation to prepare compounds for screening. You can expect to work on multiple projects at the same time, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
