Position Title: Construction Site Manager

Coupang is expanding its logistics footprint in Taiwan and is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the on-site execution of its new logistics center in Taipei. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of a high-efficiency, tech-enabled logistics facility that supports Coupang’s mission to revolutionize e-commerce logistics in Asia.

What will you do?

Site Management & Execution
Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site engineers, and labor teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Monitor construction progress and adjust schedules and resources to meet project milestones.
Quality & Safety Assurance
Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and local building codes.
Enforce strict safety protocols and lead daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with Coupang’s internal project management, design, and procurement teams.
Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and inspections.
Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and waste disposal.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
Provide regular updates to the project manager on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Support cost control efforts by tracking material usage and labor productivity.

Essential Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in site supervision or construction management, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of Taiwanese construction laws, permitting processes, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or BIM tools).
• English proficiency is a strong advantage.

Preferred Certifications:

• Taiwan Professional Engineer License (土木技師 or 建築技師)
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Safety Supervisor Certification (職業安全衛生管理員)
