Role
As a KYC Onboarding Analyst at Pax2pay, you will support the Onboarding Manager in bringing new customers onto our platform efficiently and in line with our regulatory obligations. You will be responsible for carrying out KYC and due diligence checks, reviewing customer documentation, and ensuring that all onboarding processes run smoothly from start to finish.
This role sits within the Onboarding Team, working closely with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to deliver a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for our customers. You’ll play a key part in ensuring we maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer care throughout the onboarding journey.
What you’ll be doing
CDD Checks
- Communicate with customers to collect required documentation and clarify missing or incomplete details.
- Verify customer identification, business registration, and ownership structures in line with Pax2pay’s standards.
- Review documentation and perform KYC/KYB checks in accordance with Pax2pay’s onboarding procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform KYC refreshes (e.g., annual or risk-based) to keep customer data accurate and compliant.
- Prepare comprehensive KYC/KYB evidence packs for regulatory and audit purposes.
Documentation and Record Management
- Ensure all customer documentation is accurately stored and maintained in accordance with internal compliance and data management standards.
- Maintain and update the CRM onboarding pipeline to ensure accurate tracking of customer status and progress.
- Prepare onboarding summaries and progress updates for key stakeholders.
- Keep customers informed throughout the onboarding process, providing timely updates and guidance as required.
Customer Onboarding Support
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Commercial and Compliance, to resolve onboarding or CDD-related queries efficiently.
- Work with the Onboarding Manager to identify and implement improvements that enhance the efficiency and overall customer onboarding experience.
- Support the Onboarding Manager with other onboarding related tasks where required.
What we need
- 2+ year experience in a client due diligence role within financial services.
- Proven experience performing KYC/KYB checks for business clients, including reviewing corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and company registration documents.
- Strong practical understanding of risk-based approaches to onboarding and customer due diligence.
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and financial industry compliance standards.
- Experience using onboarding and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot or similar) would be advantageous.
