About the role 

Pixelogic is looking for experienced Korean-into-Japanese In-house QC Editors to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with teams around the globe with the end goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.

Due to the sensitive nature of the delivery schedule, time flexibility is of paramount importance.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Proofread and edit content translated from Korean to Japanese, using SSTG1Pro subtitling software and/or Pixelogic proprietary cloud based subtitling software
• Leverage in-house glossary tool for consistency across products as well as follow client style guide specifications
• Handle rejections/make corrections in files
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Remain current with industry trends, and adapt to evolving client requirements
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

• SSTG1Pro 자막 제작 소프트웨어 및/또는 Pixelogic의 자체 클라우드 기반 자막 제작 소프트웨어를 사용하여 한국어에서 일본어로 번역된 콘텐츠를 교정 및 편집
• 제품 전반의 일관성을 유지하기 위해 사내 용어집 도구를 활용하고, 고객 스타일 가이드를 준수
• 반려된 작업 처리 및 파일 수정
• 높은 품질을 유지하면서 촉박한 마감 기한 준수
• 업계 트렌드를 지속적으로 파악하고, 변화하는 고객 요구사항에 유연하게 대응
• 기밀성이 요구되는 콘텐츠의 보안 및 비밀 유지

Requirements

• Korean/Japanese bilingual

• Good command of English (Not a must)

• Knowledge of other languages is an asset

• Minimum of 3 years of translation and/or proofreading experience required

• Knowledge of SSTG1Pro subtitling software (CANVASs) is desirable

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Must have demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule (on-time delivery and flexible working hours)

• Ability to follow technical / style guide for multiple client content types
