Key Production Operator – Westfield, Indiana
DISHER is currently partnering with a U.S.-based company specializing in innovative, tobacco-free pouches designed to deliver energy and serve as an alternative to chewing tobacco. The company is searching for a Key Operator will be responsible for optimizing the performance of the GD production line by monitoring key parameters, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements to enhance throughput and reliability.

What you will get to do:
Work with the Production Manager and Supervisor to achieve daily and weekly production targets. This includes prioritizing and effectively managing R&D projects and other essential manufacturing tests.
Lead the training and onboarding of new GD machine operators, ensuring they develop a strong understanding of machine functionality, safe operating practices, and standard work procedures.
Establish clear guidelines for troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance tasks that operators can perform independently, while defining when issues must be escalated to the maintenance team.
Understands and follows routine maintenance schedules, basic diagnostic steps, and proper documentation of machine issues.
Ensure that all OSHA regulations are followed.
Ensure all food safety and internal operating protocols are followed.
What will make you successful:
6-10 years of experience in a manufacturing facility - preferred.
4 years of experience supervising hourly production workers in a food or other manufacturing facility.
Highly proficient computer skills, including MS Office software.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
Will be required to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to verbally communicate with employees and customers as well as respond to verbal communication from others.
Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and other manufacturing/warehouse equipment on a regular basis.
Will be required to operate heavy machinery on occasion.
