In your position as Key Account Project Partner you will be the link between Malt's enterprise clients and our freelance community, translating their business needs into profiles. Your main task is to gain a good understanding of your clients' challenges. Using your knowledge of our community and mastering your search skills, you will then find and pitch the best matches and win the projects for Malt. Your goal is to create an experience that is so good that clients and freelancers want to work with you again and again. So good that they tell their colleagues about it and always choose us over the competition - and become loyal ambassadors for Malt.

In this role, you will get a good understanding of different industries and gain deep insights into our clients' current challenges. You will use your expertise to have an impact not only on these companies by helping to shape their future development, but also on our freelance experts by providing them with interesting projects. Not to mention, over time you will build a strong business network that can benefit your career and personal development.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Find the best freelance experts to meet your clients’ needs and find solutions for complex customer requests
  • Act as a trusted partner, collaborate and build proactively solid and sustainable relationships with the clients and the sales team to strengthen customer retention
  • Attend client meetings together with our sales team and grow Malt’s client base and business
  • Advise your clients on writing strong briefings to attract the best freelance experts
  • Conduct occasional qualification interviews with freelance experts at the client's request to select the most suited ones
  • Be an expert for the Malt algorithm and the associated best practices
  • Advise consultants to build a powerful profile and train them on good interviewing practices

About you 🧑‍🚀

  • You bring 4+ years of experience in the field of consulting, sales, project management or recruitment & sourcing
  • You have worked in a fast-growing B2B environment or an (recruitment) agency and managed major client accounts
  • You are hands-on, reliable, structured and have strong organisational and communication skills
  • You go above and beyond your own goals and add value to your team and the entire organisation
  • You speak German on a native level and are fluent in English

  • First call with Juliane (Lead Talent Acquisition DACH) to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have. (30 minutes)
  • Interview with your future manager, Pascal (Head of Community, Project Partnering & Customer Care DACH) to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role. (45-60 minutes)
  • Role Play with Kristin (Squad Manager) in order to assess your technical skills. (45-60 minutes)
  • Final interview with a C-level executive to discuss Malt’s long-term vision. (45-60 minutes)
