Systematically drive the overall sales process, from identifying potential leads through to building lasting relations with customers, by employing the full array of key account management tools to achieve sustainable, profitable growth.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive the overall sales process from identification of leads to commissioning of projects and support services.
- Maintain long-term profitable relations with customers by becoming a trusted, reliable partner and key interface to the Toradex organization
- Work closely with customers, Inside Sales Team and our Field Applications Engineers to carefully and systematically identify profitable sales potential and address them with solutions based on Toradex products and services
- Organize, actively manage and build a sustainable pipeline of sales opportunities in the given region
- Organize and execute market research or data gathering to identify and approach specific customers within target industries to develop sales, carefully setting agreed priorities with management and executing accordingly
- Supporting customers on site where required, to deliver product training, support sales activities and work directly with a customer’s engineering department
Capable of doing product demos at customer sites
- Take the lead on trade fair and exhibitions to promote Toradex products and services and interface directly with potential customers to drive project acquisition and the growth of the region
- Capable of maintaining records. Solely responsible for all collections and receivables from customers.
- Moderate travel requirement within the region.
Skills
- Looking for a hands-on experienced person with an engineering background preferably having around 3 years direct sales experience in embedded systems, semi-conductor, computer hardware industries; with a proven track record of profitable growth and achievement.
- Preference will be given to candidates with rich experience in Single Board Computers, Computer on Modules, System on Board.
- Knowledge of Windows Embedded Compact OS, Linux and Android.
- Knowledge of CRM tools.
- Mastery of key account tools: customer mapping, customer P&L, multi-level selling, account development plans, etc.
- Strong ability to interface with customers at all levels, engineering / management / executive; ability to capture and systematically document requirements and discuss these to field application engineers.
- Project management skills, ability to systematically plan and execute successfully
- Excellent planning and forecasting, organization and record keeping skills
- Excellent proven communication skills.
- Preference given to candidates with a track record in new business development and creating / developing new markets
- Risk management – understanding and identifying areas of risk within a project such a missing or ambiguous requirements and helping to minimise or eliminate such risks through pro-active communication and problem solving
- Manage, build & maintain relationship with principal partners in the region.
- An appreciation and understanding of a diverse range of applications across different industries, knowing what technologies are suitable for such applications and understanding where Toradex’s products are suitable and the value they deliver.
- Should be able to identify / create value and effectively deliver customer specific value.
- Knowledge of industry segments: automotive, aerospace, military, transportation & logistics, testing/measuring equipment, telecoms, industrial automation etc. preferable.
- Ability to organize, execute and interpret results from market research to uncover and systematically develop market potential.
- Knowledge of data analytics.
- Able to identify strategic thrust needed to rejuvenate the business in the region.
