We are now hiring a commercially sharp, technically credible KAM/BDM to grow strategic accounts and new business in the UK market, industrial tape converters, and specialist distributors. You will own key relationships, shape account strategies, and convert opportunities across multiple value chains.

 

You will be expected to excel at developing and executing account strategies. Build mid-term Key Account plans, align tactics with regional business/marketing strategies, and drive profitable growth while protecting margin. Establish, build and leverage multi-level relationships across customers. Engage decision makers and influencers, establish a robust internal tesa and ensure local implementation of regional initiatives. Proactively target defined customer groups, create and qualify leads, manage a high‑quality project pipeline, specify tesa products for various application and close opportunities. Maintain complete, accurate CRM records to enable digital processes, forecast reliably, and support decision making. Coordinate with internal experts and partners to initiate early-stage projects and trainings that accelerate adoption.

Requirements

  • Adhesives or industrial tapes (product/solution selling).

  • Tape converting processes (slitting, die‑cutting, lamination, release liner selection, application troubleshooting) and the converter value chain.

  • Prior demonstrable success selling to tape converters / tape specialists in industrial markets.

  • Technical aptitude to collaborate with R&D/application engineers on specifications, qualifications, and early-stage projects.

  • Structured account planning.

  • Pipeline discipline.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Comfortable managing pricing/margin.

  • Team player who collaborates cross‑functionally.

  • Flexible and resilient.

  • Highly organized and methodical.

  • Proficient with CRM for opportunity management and forecasting.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK with occasional trips in Europe for team meetings or trainings.
