CEQUENS is seekin a Junior Test Engineer to support the quality assurance process across web applications and APIs. You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable software

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test cases and test plans
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs
• Test backend services built with Node.js (RESTful APIs, microservices)
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Write and maintain automated test scripts
• Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies (Agile/Scrum)
• Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing
• Assist in CI/CD pipeline testing processes

Requirements

• Good understanfing of software testing principles
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Node.js
• Understanding of API testing (REST, JSON)
• Knowledge of tools like:
• Postman / Insomnia (API testing)
• Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (automation)
• Basic knowledge of version control (Git)
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols
