Junior TechOps Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Junior TechOps Engineer is an entry-level role that focuses on delivering well-defined tasks in collaboration with senior engineers. This role involves developing basic skills in TechOps processes, automation, and tools while showing a willingness to grow professionally.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

●   Deliver well-defined tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.

●   Develop and apply basic skills in TechOps processes, operations, and tools.

●   Assist with routine tasks related to automation and troubleshooting.

●   Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and assist in providing solutions.

●   Consistently demonstrate self-motivation and a willingness to learn and grow.

●   Engage in testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

●   Acquire a deeper understanding of specific business domains within the area of work.

●   Perform tasks with minimal errors and show steady progress.

●   Support senior engineers in operational duties.

●   Communicate progress and issues to senior team members.

●   Document tasks, processes, and solutions as needed.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

●   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

●   Knowledge of Unix/Linux and object-oriented programming in Python.

●   Knowledge of Kubernetes.

●   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

●   Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

●   Excellent teamwork and communication skills

●   Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail

●   Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence
