About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Technical Writer to join our Documentation team for a 1-year fixed-term position (contract of employment) based in Poland, working in a hybrid model (2–3 days per week on-site). In this role, you will sit within the Product team and be at the forefront of creating clear, comprehensive technical documentation that empowers our internal teams and external users alike.

Working in close collaboration with the Product team and the Engineering team, you will be embedded in the product development process to produce high-quality documentation while helping shape the future of our knowledge management practices.

What you'll do

Documentation Creation & Management

• Write & maintain release notes that clearly communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders
• Develop functional documentation that guides users through product features & capabilities
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create accurate, detailed technical documentation
• Support and empower our Support & Implementation teams with comprehensive knowledge resources

Knowledge Ecosystem Development

• Actively participate in building & evolving the company's knowledge ecosystem
• Contribute to the organization & optimization of our knowledge bases
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation accessibility & usability
  

AI Strategy & Innovation

• Help develop & implement the Documentation team's AI strategy
• Explore creative applications of AI tools to optimize documentation processes
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance documentation quality & team productivity
• Champion innovative approaches to content creation & management
  

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in Technical Writing, Translation, Journalism, or related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in technical writing, content creation, or software documentation (internships or academic projects count)
  
• Fluent or near-native English proficiency (C1 level minimum)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Understanding of structured documentation principles and best practices
• Knowledge of content management and knowledge management systems
• Ability to quickly learn and document complex technical concepts
• Team player who is proactive and comfortable reaching out to team members to gather information
• Genuine interest in technology and technical products
• Curiosity about emerging trends and innovations in the software industry
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Confluence and Jira platforms
• Familiarity with engineering processes and Agile methodology
• Basic understanding of docs-as-code approaches and Git version control
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS for documentation formatting
• Previous experience in a technical or software environment
