This role allows you to impact patient care through QA processes in a thriving health tech environment that values professional development and team dynamics.
About us:
As one of Germany’s leading health tech companies, we are rethinking discharge management — technology-driven, patient-centered, and free of bureaucracy. Alongside our market-leading SaaS platform, we build AI solutions that radically simplify processes in hospitals and post-acute care, relieve healthcare professionals, and put the focus back on patients. Today, we already connect two-thirds of all German hospitals with more than 650 rehabilitation clinics and 25,000 nursing and homecare providers. With around 100 employees and growing, we are looking for people with strong values who want to help us improve the healthcare system.
This is what you can expect from us as a Junior Software QA Tester:
Work with Purpose - your work has a real impact on patients and healthcare professionals in the medical field.
Corporate Culture - we embrace structures that foster high performance and strong team dynamics. Our interactions are characterized by mutual respect, loyalty, and recognition. We work together towards common goals and expect the same from you.
Flexibility - we are a remote-friendly company, and you can work remotely from anywhere in Germany. By arrangement, you are also welcome to take workations.
Edenred card - which you can use in the way that suits you best.
Professional Development - your professional development is important to us. We are dedicated to your success and job satisfaction.
Extra Day Off on Your Birthday - so you can celebrate with your loved ones.
This is how you will make an impact as a Junior Software QA Tester:
You execute manual tests for new features, improvements, and bug fixes across our web app, native apps, and core user flows.
You create clear, actionable bug reports in Jira (steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behavior, and test evidence).
You support Product, Design, and Engineering with fast feedback throughout refinement, development, and release preparation.
You contribute to confident releases by maintaining lightweight test plans and regression checklists, and by ensuring fixes are re-tested thoroughly.
You help investigate complex issues by validating assumptions and narrowing down reproduction steps.
You continuously improve how we test by spotting patterns in recurring defects and turning them into preventive measures.
You grow your QA skill set over time (exploratory and risk-based testing, test case design, and basic technical testing such as API testing with Postman; automation exposure is a plus).
Your profile as a Junior Software QA Tester:
You have 1–2 years of experience in software testing QA, or strong practical experience from internships, working student roles, bootcamps, or side projects.
You have hands-on exposure to testing web applications and native apps in an agile environment, and you understand how QA contributes across the SDLC from refinement to release.
You can translate requirements and acceptance criteria into meaningful test scenarios, including edge cases, and you take a structured approach to manual testing, documentation, and regression checks.
You write excellent bug reports in Jira (clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and evidence) and you have first experience with Jira and ideally Postman (or strong motivation to learn quickly).
You think in user journeys and risks, balance speed and thoroughness pragmatically, and communicate clearly and respectfully in a remote-friendly, async-first setup, flagging risks and blockers early.
You are curious, detail-oriented, eager to learn from feedback, collaborative, and comfortable working in a regulated, high-trust domain where quality and data sensitivity matter.
German language skills are a strong plus.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
