A Day as a Junior/Medior Back-end Engineer at Kinesso:
You start your day attending the stand-up of the development team, sharing your progress and checking whether you need any support from your colleagues, whether remotely or in the office. Every other Friday involves wrapping up your last tasks of the sprint and taking part in the team-wide demo showcasing this sprint’s achievements. During lunch that day, we celebrate the successful sprint.
Post-lunch you join two key moments: the Retrospective and your (personal) improvement time. This could involve learning new back-end concepts, pairing with a medior or senior engineer, improving your code quality, or exploring new tools used within the team. Spotting an invite for a meeting next week, you accept and wind down for the weekend with drinks and snacks, proud of another week of growth and contribution.
