(Junior) Site Reliability Engineer (all genders)

As a Site Reliability Engineer (all genders), your mission is to help maintain and further develop our internal self-service platform. This platform enables our development teams to deploy, monitor, and scale their applications efficiently - while upholding the highest standards of security, and reliability.

• You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a reliable and secure cloud infrastructure that forms the backbone of our applications and services

• You play a crucial role as a key enabler between development and operations, ensuring smooth collaboration 

• You take ownership of evaluating and integrating new technologies to continuously improve system efficiency and security 

Das bringst du mit / That's what you bring to the table:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field, and bring 2+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role. Ideally, having touch points with production systems on AWS and Kubernetes 

• You bring strong problem-solving skills, a proactive, hands-on approach, and a passion for continuous learning, taking ownership, and working in a collaborative environment

• You have practical experience with cloud infrastructure and you’ve worked with Terraform 

• You have experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting

• You have experience with building dashboards and alerts

• You are fluent in spoken and written English and can communicate clearly

• Nice-to-have technology experience: Go (preferred), JavaScript, Python, Postgres, Prometheus, Grafana LGTM, NATS JetStream

• Ideally, you have a passion for modern security principles and/or hands-on experience implementing compliance frameworks

Deine Meilensteine bei uns / Your milestones with us:

• Within 3 months, you will complete your onboarding and begin taking on tasks with the support and guidance of your teammates

• Within 6 months at collect.AI, you will take ownership of smaller projects, still collaborating closely with your team for support and feedback

• Within 12 months, you will lead larger initiatives independently, driving key topics and contributing as a fully integrated member of the team
