Junior Security Engineer

Job description

• Conduct penetration testing and perform code security reviews for product or project applications.
• Build and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Research cloud security technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and conduct cloud security audits.
• Participate in network security maintenance, including incident analysis and investigation.
• Explore cutting-edge security technologies, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, and attack methods.

Requirements

• College or University graduated, majoring in cybersecurity, computer science, IT or equivalent
• Proficiency in Web/API penetration testing methodologies, security code reviews, and tools (e.g., Burp Suite).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as C#, JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Strong interest in researching security technologies and solving challenging problems.
• Experience with Azure or any SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
