Role and Responsibilities: As a Junior Recruiter at UpEquity, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:


  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team goals.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through creative methods including LinkedIn, boolean searches, networking, job boards, and referrals.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process - from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews, extending offers, and closing candidates.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations throughout the hiring process.
  • Help design and refine scalable recruiting processes that support rapid growth.
  • Track recruiting metrics, maintain accurate pipeline data, and deliver regular progress updates. 
  • Balance multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proactively build and nurture a pipeline of top talent for future openings. 
  • Support light office management and administrative tasks as needed to help keep operations running smoothly. 



Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or agency; technical recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn, ATS systems - experience with BambooHR is a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches and workflows simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable identifying, engaging, and closing passive candidates.
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and quick to learn new systems and processes. 
  • Passionate about personal growth and open to coaching and feedback.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative startup environment
