Framestore's 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe’s leading creative studios. Working within the Pre-Production Services team as a Junior Realtime Artist, you'll help create beautiful, optimised realtime content in Unreal Engine for feature film and episodic projects.

Realtime Artists at Framestore work at the intersection of art and technology, collaborating with supervisors, visualisation and VFX artists to bring environments, characters and effects to life in Unreal Engine. Our Realtime Artists combine a strong artistic eye with solid technical knowledge, solving creative challenges and pushing what's possible in real-time production to support the filmmaking process.

Requirements

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine (including Blueprints, Sequencer and lighting)

  • Understanding of realtime workflows and PBR principles

  • Basic skills in modelling, texturing and shading within a realtime environment

  • Strong interest in environments, level design or lighting

  • Familiarity with 3D software such as Maya or Blender

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must currently be in the final year of your studies (BA, MA, PhD etc) or have graduated in the past 12 months

  • You must be a UK citizen or have a current resident, student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship

  • You must be available from 6th July - 28th August 2026
