Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Project Engineer to join our growing Land Development team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who have internship or hands-on experience in land development engineering. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to support the planning, design, and execution of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of site development plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and drainage designs.
Perform calculations and prepare engineering reports in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct research and compile data for environmental, zoning, and permitting requirements.
Support senior engineers in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate project deliverables.
Assist with permit applications and respond to agency review comments.
Participate in field inspections, site visits, and project meetings.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure deliverables are submitted on schedule.
